A lot has happened since the last post. So much in fact that it's kept us quite busy. We've always known that Loden is a super-advanced baby, but he's so insistent on being mobile. Like before, he was never content on just lying there, so he learned how to sit. He was happy with being able to sit up on his own until he realized, "wait a second, I can move around." He's ready to crawl, he's not quite ready to trust himself and it's quite funny watching him go through the motions. So, we leave him by himself to see what he can figure out. He'll lean forward until he supports himself with his arms, but can't quite trust to let go completely. Now, he get's in the crawl position with no problems, but still struggles a bit with the actual crawling motions. So, we guide him and make it fun thus reiterating that it's okay to trust his body to move. On top of that, he also loves grab hold of anything and climb up. Not only is crawling enough, he wants to stand!! Slow down dude. Oh, by the way, we nicknamed him "tugboat." If you see him in person, you'll understand why. Trying to think if there are any other updates...he sleeps through the night in his own room, but we find him in all sorts of peculiar positions in the morning. Quite funny that he's mobile in his own crib. Oh, also, we had to lower the crib mattress because he knows how to climb now. I guess that's it.
These pictures are about a couple of weeks old, but this should tide you over until I have a second to breathe and catch up on posts.
