Sorry, yet again, for the long no post. Loden had a routine check-up with his doctor a week ago and he's very healthy. He's 32 inches tall and around 29 pounds heavy. He got two shots that day and was man enough to go to school afterward. Unfortunately, he got some bug there from the doctor's office where his temperature sky rocketed to triple digits so back to the doctor we go. Not only that, he had pink eye in both eyes! Don't underestimate the power of those silly little antibacterial lotions after going to public places, especially doctor's offices. At any rate, he lost weight due to loss of appetite, but knew enough to keep himself hydrated. He spent the week at my parents' house where he was nursed back to health. We now have a 99.99999% Loden back, yay!!
Other than that, same old routine for us. We're going to be visited one more time by Christina's parents, but slowly we are tearing down that guest room and slowly bringing in new baby furniture...again. It must be fate where we bought a house that had a pink and blue kids rooms already in place. All we have to do is bring in furniture. As much as I'd love to fully redecorate, repaint or put up wainscoting, it's really hard to find time to do anything extra when you've got a kid and a pregnant wife. I think we'll leave the room pink and save the money for other things. Like formula...or diapers...sigh indeed!!
